I was a guest lecturer during the course ‘Communication, Innovation and Society’ in 2016. During this course I guided PhD students on the subject of ‘How to write a communication plan’ and I addressed the following topics:
- Why is a communication plan important?
- What is the strategic framework for a communication plan?
- How to make the best use of the communication building blocks
- Practical: work out how communication contributes to your ambitions as a researcher
The students worked on their personal communication plans aimed at disseminating the results of their research projects to a wider audience. The lecture was positively evaluated by the PhD students.
